Does Grandparents Rights give them a right over their grand children?
The world is a stage and we are all players who play our roles. Everyone is born with a reason, some, who care for others and some who are to be cared. Every grand parent has their grand parent’s rights over their grand children. The constitution of United Stated does not grant any grand parent’s right over their grand children.
Grand parents rights vary from state to state. And in most cases, it depends on the situation. In case the child is living with both parents and is doing very well, then the grand parent’s lose the rights. But if the parents have died, the whole scenario changes, and the grand parent’s get their rights over their grand children. There is another case, when the child has only one living parent, the grand parent’s rights are in favor of the grand parent’s. But in order to attain the rights, the grand parents should have to prove that, the single parent is unfit for the child’s care and should be submitted with a solid proof. Only then the Grand parents rights are given to the grand parents’ of the child. Some parents may feel that their kids are better when they are kept away from their grand parents’ but grand parents feel that the kids are lacking on their morals and values which they would give to their grand children.
